Bonnie L. Chattler, nee Stein, 74, loving mother of Robert (Maricar) and the late Julie Chattler, dear sister of Sherry Widman (Richard Mendelson) and brother Paul Stein (Betsy Phillips) and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. South Shore H.S. alum 1966, University of Illinois alum 1970. Loved traveling the world, horseback riding, family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Friends of Fisher House-Illinois, 1600 W. Lake, St., Ste 103B – #194, Addison, IL 60101-1822. Chapel service, Tuesday, October 25, 2022; 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. To Bob: Thinking about you at this sad time. My daughter — who was a tiny child at the time your Mom worked here — saw her Obit and asked was it “my Bonnie”? Unfortunately, when I saw your name and Julie’s, I knew that yes it was. So sorry about her loss at such a young age. I’m 70 now, just a babe! All our best. Danny Kahn
